The DGSA Queensland wish to advise all propestive Dairy Goat Buyers to be aware of the goat disease: Caprine arthritis encephalitis (CAE)
also known as Caprine retrovirus (CRV)

Some Dairy Goat breeders do regularly test for this disease and there are registered CAE Accredited Herds.
If you purchase from a CAE Accredited Herd you should ask for a copy of their current certificate.
